image2802.jpgI’m currently doing montage and sabau doing interactive scoreboard system for Nokia-Siemens Network. We’re working with Tiki and Roze from Ambidextrous Solutions. So pretty busy here but we still have time to treat ( actually pronounced as ‘trick’ ) ourself.

So we start tricking ourself with buffet at Chicken Hartz, Time Square. Participants only to Isra’ members, Syed, Sabau, Edry , Rahmat, Syawal and me, missing in the picture.

The food at Hartz Chicken Buffet has been increased. RM 22 something if i’m not mistaken. last year the price was.. RM17.90 and yet the ice-cream machined are faulty. So miss the dessert there.

Then the next day, Friday, went to Marche, The Curve for boys buka puasa.

Nasi Ambang

Ever wonder what is nasi ambang? here it is.

first. picture and video of. nasi ambang

Nasi Ambang from tekong on Vimeo.

well nasi ambang is javanese cuisine served on a tray. not a normal tray, but a steel round tray. usually it contains tempe, meehoon, fried mee, fried tauhu, coconut floss, spicy anchovies, soohuun, half or a whole of chicken, and many more. has two type of arrangements which one is to eat it there snd another one, eat a bit and take-away back to home.

just in case you feel weird with my manglish.. here’s the correct translation =

sejenis hidangan masyarakat jawa yang dihidangkan diatas dulang. kebiasaanya mempunyai tempe, meehun, mee goreng, tauhu goreng, serunding kelapa, sambal ikan bilis goreng garing, soohuun, seekor atau separuh ayam dan bermacam-macam lagi. mempunyai dua jenis susunan. satunya susunan untuk dimakan disitu dan lagi satu, susunan untuk dibungkus dibawa pulang.

this is the true nasi ambang. in dulang.

image2412.jpg

well my villagers always ask, do people in town dare to eat like this.. i say i don’t know. last time during monday and thursday fasting at mmu, me and my friends eat in dulang/tray but with the food we bought from food court. it’s not even close to nasi ambang but the trend to eat in dulang is to share the food. for 3 box of food, 4-5 people able to eat together. nice

so do you dare to eat in dulang with me?
