I found a statistic of registered marriage in Malaysia. And I found out some facts
- Every year, no less than 100K above, the malays getting married
- Every year, no more than 70K, non-malays getting married
So I was wondering, this year alone I have around 6-7 of my friends at my age, 24, getting married. Last year there’s about 4-6. And around 2-3 friends study oversea also getting married.
And as I have some chinese friends, around 1-3 but they’re a bit older than me, getting married.
So I wonder, are those statistics, most of them for Malays is in between 22-30? Are the non-Malays getting married a bit later? After 27-28? While the obvious reason might be because Malays are dominant in this country but I don’t want to resort to that answer alone. There must be another factor/hypothesis.
So I’m assuming that Non-Malays getting married a bit later than Malays, what say you? Looking forward to hear your opinion
P/S: this is not that i want to pick a numbers to get married. This is just what I think. I think, therefore I am.
