Love on the battlefield.

just came back from the toilet.. phhrruussshhhhhhh

i like reading books/mags inside toilet. HWM, National geographic, Stuff, and many more that i can grab before i go to toitlet. suddenly i remember Rahmat’s national geographic magazine, the back cover. It’s a cover of a nurse writing a memo from a soldier to his family/relatives. i can remember one phrase, ” we cannot leave them”. so i key in the word ‘national geographic’ and the phrase “we cannot leave them” and i found this…

the really , verily the same picture on rahmat’s magazine. and again, tersentuh

Caption = A Salvation Army “lassie” writes home for a wounded World War I soldier in 1918. “Ask an American doughboy if life would have been worth living at the front without the Salvation Army cook, comforter, and general utility cheerer,” noted a November 1918 Geographic story on war efforts. “Told by the colonel of a regiment that she would be killed if she persisted in serving her doughnuts and cocoa to the men while under heavy fire,” one Salvation Army worker said: “Colonel, we can die with the men, but we cannot leave them.
